In Australia, we focus on supporting vulnerable youth, families, and isolated elderly through comprehensive social services. Our programs address mental health, substance abuse, obesity prevention, homelessness, and provide critical support for Aboriginal youth, newly arrived refugees, and elderly Australians without family support.
The Situation
Australia faces growing challenges with youth mental health, substance abuse, obesity, homelessness, and social isolation, particularly in underserved communities. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth face additional barriers to services and support. Newly arrived refugees need comprehensive assistance to navigate a new culture, language, and systems. Elderly Australians without family or loved ones face isolation and struggle to manage complex medication schedules, putting their health at risk. We work to fill gaps in services and provide culturally appropriate, holistic support to those who need it most.

Our Impact in Australia
From Crisis to Hope
When Jake was 17, he was struggling with severe depression and had started using drugs to cope. His family was breaking down, and he had dropped out of school. Through our integrated youth support program, Jake received mental health counseling, enrolled in our substance abuse treatment program, and was connected with a support group of peers facing similar challenges. Our case workers helped him re-engage with education and find part-time work. With ongoing therapy, family counseling, and community support, Jake completed his recovery program and is now studying social work to help others facing similar struggles.
"This program saved my life. They didn't judge me, they just helped me find my way back. They supported my whole family, not just me. Now I want to do the same for others."
