Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to heal from the wounds of the 1990s conflict. We work with communities across ethnic lines to promote reconciliation, support education, and build economic resilience for a peaceful future.

The Situation

Nearly three decades after the war, Bosnia and Herzegovina still faces challenges related to ethnic divisions, economic hardship, and the legacy of conflict. Many communities remain segregated, and youth face limited opportunities. We work to bridge divides and create pathways to peace and prosperity.

Building Bridges Through Youth

In a divided city, we brought together young people from different ethnic backgrounds for a joint community project. What started as hesitant cooperation became genuine friendship. Today, these youth leaders are organizing their own inter-ethnic events and inspiring their communities.

"We realized we have more in common than what divides us. Now we're working together for our shared future."
